This is my BFA Senior Synthesis Project: MIXED. I am biracial, coming from black and white heritage, and I made this project to bring awareness to what it's like living in America as a mixed person. A lot of people don't know that there are mixed people out there, or tend to assume others' races based on appearances alone. So, I wanted to create this project to show that people come in so many different forms, to show that everyone is unique, having their own stories and backgrounds. Overall, with this project, I wanted to celebrate the uniqueness of human beings and share my own story as well.
